DOUBLE DELIGHT !!!! As many games where called off across the region this weeken, SMB entertained Nomansland on Saturday, who elected to bat. SMB started horrifcally being 3 down for 8 after 10 overs. But managed to complete an astonishing 11 run win! Chalky's Sunday XI were fielding a slightly weaker 11 than last weekend, crushed the Portway Pirates in a low scoring encounter at The Recreation Ground with Trissy "Roadkill" Comber the stand out batsman finishing on 74*.

BACK WITH A BANG !!!! With Farleigh Wallop ringing up late last week and calling off the game at their place, SMBCC groundsmen Martin Clay & Phil Fish made a great effort to get the game on at the Recreation Ground. APOLOGIES FOR LACK OF UPDATES!!!! The future of the SMBCC Website was in doubt for another year, but we are back and actually got around to playing some cricket this weekend! Details to follow.
